Percipio
About
About Percipio
Percipio develops three-dimensional cameras and robot-vision software for factories, logistics and mobile machines. Its sensors use time of flight, active dot patterns or fringe-projection structured light to measure depth across different ranges, resolutions and surface conditions.
Camera families support bin picking, dimensioning, inspection, navigation and human-machine interaction. TYVision software provides calibration, point-cloud processing and low-code hand-eye workflows that connect perception to robot motion. Percipio supplies embedded modules, enclosed industrial cameras and application packages, allowing integrators to choose the sensing principle and compute arrangement for each task.
Timeline
Events
- 2024-01-04 - Partnership - Percipio 3D cameras receive Universal Robots UR+ certification
UR+ certification covered compact Percipio PS- and FS-series cameras for collaborative robot applications. The cameras mount at robot wrists to provide point clouds for picking, loading and assembly. Percipio RVS software links compatible cameras and Universal Robots cobots through graphical programming.
Source - 2023-12-20 - Product Launch - Percipio launches Vision++ 3D machine-vision development platform
Vision++ provides low-code graphical workflows and a panel designer for deployable vision applications. Its tool library combines 2D and 3D operators while accepting third-party algorithm extensions. Percipio opened the complete platform and standard algorithm library under free commercial licensing.
Source - 2023-09-25 - Product Launch - Percipio launches RVS-SE standardized depalletizing package
RVS-SE packages 3D sensing, recognition, calibration and robot communications into a standardized workflow. Prebuilt models identify common boxes and soft packages without project-specific sample training. Percipio designed the package for rapid deployment with mainstream industrial robot platforms.
Source - 2023-03-22 - Product Launch - Percipio launches compact PS800-E1 high-precision 3D camera
PS800-E1 targets close-range bin picking, measurement and high-precision eye-in-hand robot guidance. The structured-light camera combines a compact 555-gram body with a 0.2-to-1.0-meter working range. On-camera processing outputs depth maps and point clouds without consuming host-computer resources.
Source - 2022-05-01 - Product Launch - Percipio launches Robot Vision Suite for low-code robot vision
RVS combines 2D and 3D vision algorithms with robot motion-planning and calibration tools. Its graphical workflow supports low-code development, simulation and extensions for specialized automation applications. Percipio offered free licensing to robot manufacturers, integrators, end users and research institutions.
