About
About NORBIT
NORBIT develops sonar, sensing and connectivity systems for marine survey, environmental monitoring and security. Its Oceans portfolio includes compact multibeam echo sounders for surface and subsea vehicles, underwater intrusion-detection sonar and software for real-time acquisition and processing.
WINGHEAD and WBMS systems map seabeds and infrastructure from survey boats, uncrewed surface vessels and ROVs. GuardPoint tracks underwater objects around critical sites, while environmental platforms combine sensors and communications for persistent monitoring. The 2026 acquisition of Water Linked adds Doppler velocity logs, acoustic positioning, modems and three-dimensional imaging sonar, broadening the navigation and perception stack available to ROV and AUV builders.
