Frankenburg Technologies develops affordable guided missiles for countering low-flying uncrewed aircraft. Its Mark I system is designed around short-range air defence and localised mass production, addressing the cost imbalance created when expensive interceptors are used against numerous inexpensive drones.
The company combines seeker, guidance, propulsion and launcher integration for military customers building layered counter-UAS coverage. Manufacturing strategy emphasises scalable European supply and rapid production near the operating market. Frankenburg is expanding production infrastructure through Latvia while moving Mark I through testing and procurement programmes.

The site covers about 1,000 square meters and is expected to employ up to 50 people. Frankenburg targets 1,500 missiles in 2026 and capacity of up to 100 missiles per day by end-2026 across the Latvian FieldFoundry system. The factory handles missile electronics assembly, weapon-system assembly, fire-control integration, testing and quality control.
