About Intelligent Energy
Intelligent Energy develops proton-exchange-membrane hydrogen fuel-cell systems for uncrewed aircraft, aviation, material handling, mobility, data centres and distributed power. Its IE-SOAR range replaces or supplements UAV batteries to extend endurance for mapping, lidar survey, linear inspection, agriculture, delivery and defence missions.
IE-SOAR modules provide 800 watts to 2.4 kilowatts and can operate in parallel for higher-power aircraft. Six-to-sixteen-cell battery compatibility, hybrid peak-power batteries and built-in redundancy simplify integration with multirotor, fixed-wing and VTOL platforms. Rapid hydrogen refuelling and long flight duration support repeated beyond-visual-line-of-sight work; Intelligent Energy supplies engineering support alongside the commercial modules.

Intelligent Energy introduced the IE-SOAR range of lightweight hydrogen fuel cell modules for fixed-wing, rotary-wing and VTOL UAV applications. The systems are designed to increase UAV endurance and range compared with conventional battery systems. IE-SOAR supports hydrogen-powered drone operations where flight time and payload capacity are limiting factors.

The MoU establishes Robotic Skies as an integration partner for Intelligent Energy’s Fuel Cell Power Modules, initially supporting North American UAV customers. The arrangement covers Intelligent Energy’s UAV range from 650 W to 2.4 kW and adds maintenance and ground support through Robotic Skies’ network of more than 200 service centres in over 40 countries. Intelligent Energy supplies the fuel-cell modules while Robotic Skies supports field integration and post-sale service, helping UAV operators pursue longer flight time and higher payloads.
