About iniVation
iniVation commercializes Dynamic Vision Sensor cameras including DAVIS and DVXplorer models. The hardware records pixel-level events rather than only conventional frames, supporting high dynamic range, low latency and sparse data streams. Its DV and dv-processing software provide recording, visualization and algorithm-development tools, including ROS integration.
SynSense acquired all iniVation shares in 2024. The Zurich entity continues to operate within SynSense Group, serving existing customers and selling current camera systems for commercial and academic use.

The Zurich iniVation entity was set to continue operating after the transaction. Existing iniVation customers and partner relationships were to remain served through the same business. The combined group joined iniVation event-based vision sensors with SynSense neuromorphic processors.

The camera weighs 21 grams in its engineering-plastic housing. An ultra-fast USB-C interface and interchangeable lenses support compact robotics and machine-vision integrations. DVXplorer Mini is compatible with iniVation's wider DV software ecosystem.
