About OBJEXIS AI
OBJEXIS AI is a Canadian defence-technology company that develops connected unmanned-aircraft and autonomy systems. Its portfolio combines FIXAIT edge-AI detection and targeting, OK-1, HALP and SLAAP interceptor platforms, the MAQ-C modular aircraft and M2E field avionics under a common mission architecture.
The systems are designed for field assembly, repair and reconfiguration, with passive sensing and GNSS-denied operating options for contested environments. The company has participated in Canadian defence evaluation programmes and describes deployments of its targeting software in front-line operating conditions.

- 2026-09-10 - Contract Award - OBJEXIS AI receives C$612,400 Canadian Armed Forces UAS contract
The 60-month contract runs from 10 September 2026 to 10 September 2031. Its scope covers low-cost UAS plus spare parts, support equipment, documentation, training, sustainment and related support services. The award was made through the Defence Drone Initiative Marketplace Stream 1 using a selective competitive procurement.
Source - 2026-05-26 - Deployment - OBJEXIS AI confirms FIXAIT in active front-line service
FIXAIT operated in both drone-borne and vehicle-borne configurations. The deployments addressed multiple UAS threat types, including fibre-optic guided systems that can evade conventional RF-based defences. Operational use matured the command-and-control layer, operator interface and real-time 3D geolocation through partner-force integration and field feedback.
Source - 2026-02-18 - Award - OBJEXIS AI takes second place in DND urban counter-UAS trials
FIXAIT detected, classified and tracked micro and mini drones during five days of live evaluation in Ottawa. The system published detections, bearings and metadata into ATAK for Canadian Armed Forces users, defence scientists, the RCMP and allied partners. Nineteen companies were selected for the urban trial; OBJEXIS tied with Prandtl Dynamics for second place.
Source - 2025-03-28 - Partnership - OBJEXIS AI partners with Amprius for OK-1 battery integration
Amprius will provide battery options for the OK-1 counter-UAS platform. The integration is intended to extend endurance for long-duration autonomous-defence missions. The agreement covers OBJEXIS autonomous systems beyond the initial OK-1 integration.
