About CEVA Logistics
CEVA Logistics operates contract-logistics and freight services as a subsidiary of CMA CGM Group. Its robotics role is selecting, integrating and operating warehouse automation for customers. Goods-to-person installations include Geek+ mobile picking robots in Belgium and Exotec storage-and-retrieval systems in the Netherlands. Software and workstations connect automated movement with warehouse staff and order-fulfilment processes.
For Zalando fashion returns, CEVA operates Sereact dual-arm systems in Germany and Poland through a Robotics-as-a-Service arrangement. The robots identify, grasp and sort returned items, while people supervise stations, manage exceptions and perform quality control. A separate Singapore pilot uses two Zelostech autonomous vehicles to transfer inventory between floors via existing ramps. These programmes have different maturity: returns processing has entered live operation, while the Singapore vehicles are under evaluation for possible wider use. CEVA is headquartered in Marseille and serves retail, healthcare, industrial and other supply chains.

Applications include returns handling, replenishment, piece picking, sortation and kitting. The GTC demonstration uses two UR 12 e-1300 arms to mirror returns handling at operating logistics sites. Isaac Lab expands station episodes into simulated variants, while Cosmos varies garments, packaging, materials and lighting. Policies are post-trained on Blackwell GPUs and must pass Sereact’s evaluation threshold before returning to physical testing. The two operating sites are Greven, Germany, and Świebodzin, Poland. Robots grasp, identify and sort unfamiliar items without article-specific training or fixed SKU profiles. The Robotics-as-a-Service model leaves station supervision, exceptions and quality control with warehouse teams.

The Z10 vehicles autonomously move pallets, totes and other inventory between floors using the building’s existing ramps. The pilot operates inside CEVA’s eight-storey, 50,000-square-metre Blue Hub and replaces some diesel-truck movements. CEVA expects the trial to inform possible rollout of autonomous mobility across other facilities.

The installations extend an existing Exotec deployment at CEVA’s Roosendaal site. The design addresses seasonal demand and fluctuations in order volume. CEVA expected the solution to support three times the previous peak-season volume.
