About Ainstein
Ainstein’s US-D1 and US-D1 Pro altimeters use compact millimetre-wave radar to maintain height measurements over vegetation, water, dust and uneven ground where optical or ultrasonic sensors can become unreliable. The Pro model extends the stated measurement range to 120 metres, while both units expose interfaces for direct integration with ArduPilot, PX4 and custom flight-control systems.
The sensors support terrain following, automated landing and low-altitude flight without acting as the aircraft’s complete navigation stack. Ainstein also develops longer-range altimeters and near-field obstacle radars, with OA-Lite and OA-Pro scheduled for launch later in 2026. OEM work can extend from sensor selection and antenna design through firmware, enclosure and production support.
