About GPR

GPR develops subsurface positioning for automated vehicles. Its WaveSense system sends low-frequency radar pulses two to three metres below the driving surface, recording stable underground features that remain visible when snow, rain, darkness, weak GNSS or missing lane markings disrupt surface-based localisation.

GroundSense is the underbody radar sensor, NavSense matches live returns against reference data and MapSense builds, hosts and updates the maps. The resulting position, specified within five centimetres RMS, feeds an existing navigation and sensor-fusion stack. Commercial applications include passenger vehicles, trucks, ports, mining machines, shuttles and off-road autonomous platforms.
