smartmicro develops radar at several system levels: UMRR sensors for embedded applications, TRUGRD and TOPGRD traffic detectors, DRVEGRD automotive radars and compact airborne altimeters for drones and aircraft. The sensors perform multi-lane, multi-object tracking and can be combined with cameras where classification or visual confirmation is required.
For traffic deployments, COM HUB hardware and browser-based tools connect roadside sensors to signal controllers, traffic-management systems and remote diagnostics. Automotive and airborne customers integrate radar modules through engineering programmes tailored to range, field of view and environmental requirements. smartmicro designs, assembles and calibrates its products in Germany and supports deployments through international offices and partners.
