About Apex Automation and Robotics

Apex Automation and Robotics engineers bespoke production systems for Australian and international manufacturers. Its cells cover case packing, bottle bagging, palletising and depalletising, press tending, assembly, welding and end-of-line handling. Machine-vision options include three-dimensional guidance for locating parts and directing robots where fixed tooling cannot accommodate normal variation.

Projects are delivered from process definition and risk analysis through mechanical and electrical design, manufacture, factory testing, installation and commissioning. Apex also supplies operator training, documentation and ongoing technical support, allowing a cell to be integrated with upstream production and downstream wrapping, strapping or warehouse processes. Since 2006, the company has installed more than 200 machines and robotic systems across food, beverage, plastics, metal, consumer-goods, building-products and logistics operations.
