About Archer Aviation
Midnight remains a piloted four-passenger aircraft undergoing certification and operational preparation. Alongside that commercial programme, Archer is developing a hybrid autonomous aircraft with Anduril and has said it expects phased government awards as the dual-use programme advances.
Archer is also integrating NVIDIA IGX Thor into future aircraft development for real-time perception, predictive awareness, traffic-aware routing and autonomy-ready flight controls. These systems are still development programmes: they broaden Archer into physical-AI aviation but should not be confused with the current piloted Midnight service.
