About Tornyol
Tornyol is developing approximately 40 g micro-drones that patrol residential gardens and target mosquitoes in flight. Smartphone-class microphones, proximity sensors and onboard control are used to detect the insect and guide the final approach. The small aircraft operate from a local base station with patrols scheduled by the user.
A planned service would map the garden, schedule patrol periods and return the drone to its base between missions. Tornyol is positioning the system as a recurring mosquito-control product, with reservations offered around a future monthly service model. The company remains at the prototype stage, with autonomous detection, interception and unattended operation still under development.
