Censys Technologies pairs the Sentaero 6 fixed-wing VTOL aircraft with software and field infrastructure for long-distance data collection. The aircraft carries interchangeable optical, lidar and specialist payloads, while CensWise applies configurable models to collected imagery and can pass findings into geographic-information, outage-management and utility systems. Mobile command centres and EdgeDock equipment support remote or distributed missions.
The Florida company focuses on beyond-visual-line-of-sight programmes for utilities, public safety and other large-area operators. It also provides regulatory preparation and integration services around customer deployments. Sentaero performance varies by configuration, and current Censys materials use different range figures across the website and downloadable literature; endurance, payload, communications and reserve assumptions therefore remain coupled to the applicable aircraft document and operating plan.

- 2026-10-05 - Award - ANRA and other UAS developers receive FAA research awards under $12 million programme
ANRA’s four listed projects cover air-taxi integration, common altitude references, airport traffic-system integration and AI drone classification. Other work includes ground and airborne detect-and-avoid, satellite communications, drone identity, passive radar and mission coordination. Recipients will work with FAA-designated UAS Test Sites through the UAS Broad Agency Announcement programme.

The operation was completed without visual observers near Lake Okeechobee and simulated data collection for an algae bloom. Censys flew under a performance-based waiver for non-geographically constrained shielded operations. The mission demonstrated cellular command-and-control coverage for a long-distance Sentaero 5 flight.

The first year of the order was valued at approximately US$120,000. The package combines upfront hardware sales with recurring AllSight cloud revenue. No other material conditions were required before work could commence; further orders were anticipated.
