About Apellix
Apellix manufactures tethered industrial drones that place cleaning, coating or inspection tools directly against large structures while crews remain on the ground. Power and Soft Wash systems carry pressurised water or cleaning solution for facades, windows, roofs and solar arrays. Related platforms spray architectural and protective coatings or apply decontamination fluid in hazardous environments.
Onboard control can maintain stand-off distance, avoid collisions and land automatically during abnormal conditions, while the tether supplies fluid and continuous electrical power. Apellix has also developed contact-based inspection robots that autonomously take dry-film-thickness readings on tanks and other coated assets, returning measurement data to the operator. The systems are designed and manufactured in Jacksonville and replace portions of work otherwise requiring scaffolds, lifts or rope access.
