About Innate
Innate develops MARS, a compact wheeled mobile manipulator for personal robotics and embodied-AI development. The assembled robot combines a six-joint arm and gripper, moving sensor head, stereo and wrist cameras, 2D LiDAR and an NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super computer. Innate OS, ROS 2 interfaces and the BASIC agent run on the platform.
MARS supports mapped and map-free navigation, code-defined manipulation and policies trained from demonstrations using its included leader arm. Innate publishes the robot’s hardware and software repositories, provides a browser simulator, and sells assembled units in production batches.

- 2026-04-11 - Demonstration - Innate runs 25 MARS robots at Y Combinator RoboHacks
Innate and Iterate co-hosted the two-day robotics hackathon at Y Combinator's San Francisco office. More than 120 builders developed projects using at least 25 general-purpose MARS robots. NASA, Google DeepMind and other technology organizations supported the event's speakers, tracks and prizes.

Select early supporters were receiving beta-form MARS robots by the disclosure date. Innate planned to fulfill its remaining existing orders before the 2025 Christmas period. Early units used predominantly resin and PLA components manufactured at Innate's Palo Alto office.

Innate opened pre-orders while positioning the system as an affordable platform for robotics builders.
