About Tokyo Robotics
Torobo is built around joint torque sensing and impedance control, allowing the robot to regulate contact force and yield during manipulation. Whole-body balance control and zero-moment-point monitoring help the humanoid move and recover while operating its arms around human-scale workspaces.
Torobo Hand and Torobo Puppet extend the platform into dexterous manipulation and bilateral teleoperation. Tokyo Robotics supports ROS, MuJoCo and Isaac Sim, allowing researchers to develop policies in simulation, collect human demonstrations and transfer control to physical humanoid or dual-arm hardware.
