About COVVI
COVVI’s robotic hand adapts the mechanical architecture developed for its multi-articulated prostheses into a programmable five-finger end effector. Independent digit motion and selectable grip patterns allow the hand to perform pinches, cylindrical grasps and other human-like configurations across varied objects.
The research and integration package includes Ethernet control, software tools, documentation and an optional glove interface for commanding hand postures. Robot developers can use predefined grips or build their own control layer around individual digits, making the unit suitable for manipulation research, humanoid prototypes and industrial applications that require more adaptability than a two-finger gripper.
