About ORCA Dexterity
ORCA Dexterity’s core product is a tendon-driven anthropomorphic hand with 17 independently actuated degrees of freedom. The platform keeps motors out of the fingers, uses poppable joints to limit damage and provides open CAD, control software, bills of materials and assembly guidance.
Three configurations range from a nine-DoF Lite model to a tactile version with 351 taxels. The hand mounts through a standard robot-arm flange, runs independently over USB and is available either assembled or as a buildable research system for imitation learning, teleoperation and sim-to-real control.
