About COVVI Robotic Hand

The COVVI Robotic Hand uses six independently controlled movements across five articulated fingers to reproduce power, precision and lateral grasp patterns within a compact end effector. Integrated force sensing at the fingertips supplies contact information during object acquisition and handling, allowing the controller to regulate closure and detect changes in grip conditions.

The hand connects to robot arms and humanoid platforms through mechanical and Ethernet interfaces. Developers can command gestures and grasp sequences through ROS 2 or COVVI’s Python API and incorporate sensor output into manipulation policies. COVVI supplies left- and right-hand configurations for research, service robotics, collaborative automation and humanoid development, drawing on actuation and hand-design technology commercialised through its prosthetics business.
