About Dogtooth Technologies

Dogtooth Technologies develops autonomous strawberry-harvesting robots for tabletop crops in glasshouses and polytunnels. Its fifth-generation machines navigate crop rows, identify ripe fruit, detach berries and place them into punnets. Onboard inspection records each berry and measures attributes including weight and diameter so harvested fruit can be graded against grower and retailer criteria.

A web portal lets operators supervise the fleet, adjust ripeness and grading settings, and review crop, yield and defect information gathered during harvesting. The current Gen5 specification lists output up to 200 kilograms per day, 80–90 percent fruit extraction and an eight-hour swappable battery, with the robot designed to work in existing commercial layouts alongside people. Dogtooth supplies the machines and the associated fleet and crop-information service to growers.
