About ECOSPHERE Automation
ECOSPHERE Automation packages its ECOlinearaxis with a control cabinet and URCap software so that an integrator can add travel along a production cell through the robot’s existing user interface. The axis and robot joints can move at the same time, allowing the arm’s position along the track to be included in the application sequence.
The unit uses an absolute encoder that retains its position through a restart, removing the need for a separate referencing move when power returns. Axis length is configured for the customer, up to five metres, and the mechanical assembly and cabinet arrive preassembled. The system accommodates different Universal Robots arm sizes, giving cell builders a way to share one manipulator between work positions or cover a longer fixture.
