About
About Hamilton Robotics
Hamilton’s liquid handlers use independent pipetting channels, configurable deck positions and interchangeable tools to execute transfers, mixing, incubation and plate-handling steps under software control. CO-RE tool attachment allows channels to acquire pipetting heads, grippers and other devices automatically, while low-volume technologies extend the same platform into dispensing below conventional pipette ranges.
Systems can be delivered as open workstations or integrated with readers, centrifuges, incubators, storage and third-party instruments for complete assay and sample workflows. VENUS, HamiltonOne, Revolution and programming interfaces manage methods and device coordination, while application engineering, validation, training and field service support regulated and high-throughput laboratory deployments.

- 2026-02-09 - Demonstration - Hamilton Robotics demonstrates Revolution and automated storage workflows at SLAS 2026
Hamilton?s SLAS 2026 page promoted Revolution software demos at the booth, including dynamic scheduling and simulation for integrated workcells. The same page highlighted VANTAGE integrated with Verso Q20 for hands-free sample retrieval, decapping, aliquoting, recapping, and cold-chain return. Hamilton tied the booth program to liquid handling, automated storage, NGS preparation, and integrated lab automation workflows.
Source - 2025-07-16 - Acquisition - Hamilton Company acquires UK Robotics and Trisonic Discovery
The acquisitions added UK Robotics automation expertise and Trisonic Discovery discovery-science capabilities to Hamilton. Hamilton framed the transaction around strengthening its life-science workflow and automation portfolio. The event adds a corporate expansion milestone to Hamilton Robotics public timeline.
Source - 2024-11-20 - Partnership - Hamilton and 10x Genomics partner on high-throughput single-cell automation
The planned workflow combines 10x Genomics Chromium GEM-X kits with Hamilton NGS STAR workstations. The companies said the system would process up to 96 single-cell samples at one time. The collaboration targets laboratories already operating Hamilton and Chromium instruments.
Source - 2024-04-09 - Product Launch - Hamilton launches Cell Care STAR for automated cell-culture workflows
The system is built around the Microlab STAR liquid-handling platform and Cell Control Software. Supported workflow steps include cell seeding, splitting, media changes and incubation. Hamilton presented the system at Analytica 2024 in Munich as a turnkey cell-culture solution.
