Heina's Laser Quality Markings system links part loading, laser marking and quality checks in one automated sequence. The cell uses a TM5-900 collaborative robot with NX1P2 control, an NA5 operator interface and OS32C safety sensing.
The company applies the same machine-building approach to test equipment for drops, tumbling and abrasion. Robot handling, marking, inspection and control components are selected around the product being tested or processed, then integrated into equipment that can be maintained in a factory environment.

- 2025-03-04 - Deployment - Heina deploys cobot machine-tending system at Laser Quality Markings
The robot loads raw material, unloads finished parts and alerts operators when the feeder needs replenishment. The deployment enabled longer unattended operation and reduced operator waiting time. Laser Quality Markings planned to use the system as a platform for additional automated cells.
