IAI Corporation supplies electric motion products ranging from compact cylinders and grippers to complete Cartesian and SCARA robots. ELECYLINDER units provide simple two-position motion with controller electronics built into the actuator, while ROBO Cylinder and single-axis families add multi-point positioning, longer strokes, higher speed, rigidity and payload for machine automation.
The portfolio includes linear and rotary actuators, wrist units, table-top robots, cleanroom and splash- or dust-resistant variants, servo presses, controllers, teaching pendants and configuration software. Machine builders combine these modules for pressing, gripping, indexing, assembly, transfer and pick-and-place work, replacing pneumatic axes where programmable position, speed and force control are useful.
