About BlueWhale System ELI-3325

BlueWhale ELI-3325 is IAI's large autonomous underwater vehicle for anti-submarine warfare, mine countermeasure and intelligence missions. Its onboard controller manages sensors, communications, mission execution and power resources, while a deployable mast supports secured satellite command links. Surface and subsurface sensors can perform onboard target detection, tracking and processing in open-sea or littoral environments.

IAI states continuous endurance of two to three weeks depending on the mission. The system is transported in a forty-foot shipping container, supporting deployment without a purpose-built submarine host. Shore teams plan and supervise missions, and the exact sensor fit determines whether a vehicle is configured for acoustic search, mine-related work or intelligence collection.
