About
About JM Robotics
JM Robotics develops HD-series remotely operated underwater vehicles and builds customised ROV systems for professional inspection. Its offering combines the vehicle with cameras, optional side-scan or multibeam sonar, additional equipment and software for controlling and reviewing operations. The company also supplies Blue Robotics parts in the Nordic market and provides maintenance and support.
The systems are used from shore or offshore for aquaculture, rescue, research and maritime inspection, where operators need visual access and, when configured, manipulation or acoustic survey of subsea structures. Vehicle size, payload, tether and sensor arrangement vary by HD model or customer build, giving JM Robotics a configurable ROV platform for different subsea tasks.

Events
- 2026-03-05 - Product Launch - JM Robotics introduces HDx modular ROV platform
JM Robotics positioned HDx as a new platform rather than an incremental vehicle update, with modularity intended to support different customer payloads and workflows. The company scheduled the public debut for Oceanology International in London on 10-12 March 2026. The launch extends JM Robotics beyond its established compact ROV range as the company pursues international maritime customers.
Source - 2026-01-12 - Partnership - JM Robotics expands into Scotland with Underwater Contracting
Underwater Contracting placed a double-digit ROV order and will provide a local route to the Scottish and wider UK market. JM Robotics said the partnership adds local sales, support and operational knowledge as it expands internationally. The same update disclosed a custom ROV delivery to the University of Rhode Island, showing demand beyond the Nordic aquaculture market.
