About Leica Geosystems AG
Leica Geosystems captures physical sites through GNSS receivers, total stations, laser scanners and mobile mapping systems. Products such as RTC360 and BLK scanners create coloured point clouds, while robotic total stations and the MS60 combine precise angle and distance measurement with imaging and scanning. Field software registers observations and links them to project coordinates before the data moves into office or cloud workflows.
Survey, construction and infrastructure teams use those measurements to build terrain models, digital twins and machine-control references. Designs can be transferred to excavators, dozers and other equipment so onboard positioning systems compare the machine against the intended grade or alignment. Leica supplies the sensors, software, correction services and integration support as part of Hexagon’s geosystems division.
