Topcon’s positioning stack combines GNSS receivers, total stations, rotating lasers, inertial sensing and correction services. Surveyors use these systems to establish site coordinates and capture existing geometry, while machine-control products compare the position of an excavator, dozer or grader with a digital design. In-cab displays or automatic hydraulic control then guide cutting, grading and material placement.
MC-Mobile packages layout, machine guidance and as-built measurement for smaller contractors, while MC-Max supports more deeply integrated automatic control. Agriculture products use related GNSS and steering technology for repeatable passes, implement control and field records. Topcon also operates correction networks that improve positioning accuracy beyond standalone satellite navigation, connecting the sensor on the machine with design files and cloud-based project management.
