About
About RealSense
RealSense offers finished cameras as well as depth modules and vision processors for embedding into a machine. USB, GMSL/FAKRA and Power over Ethernet options address different wiring and integration requirements. Its SDK provides a common development layer, while rugged enclosures support installations exposed to dust and water.
The company became independent from Intel in July 2025 and continues the existing camera business. Its newer D585 Pro architecture adds on-camera depth and image processing with dedicated AI acceleration, reducing work on the host computer. Software tools and camera processing therefore extend RealSense's role from supplying depth measurements to supporting a larger part of the robot's perception pipeline.
