About Roboticom
Roboticom is the industrial robotics brand of Fabrica Machinale in the Pisa area of Italy. It develops repeatable robotic systems for surface preparation, sanding, polishing, trimming and milling. The SandRob family addresses finished-part surface work, while ORTIS and ScultoRob cover orthotic and sculptural or precision-machining workflows.
The company supplies hardware with its own programming and application software and supports customer installations. Its products are in use at industrial customers; in April 2026 Roboticom reported installing its 400th robot worldwide. A September 2026 non-binding letter of intent proposed the sale of certain Roboticom assets to Healthcare Triangle, but no completed ownership transfer was established by that announcement.

The milestone system was Balanced Body’s second SandRob installation. Balanced Body reports a 70% reduction in sanding labour time on key product lines and a 30% increase in wood-shop throughput. Roboticom operates internationally through Fabrica Machinale and in the United States through Epica Applied Technologies.
