About Tekton Dynamics
Tekton Dynamics adds vision, edge compute and an AI control layer to industrial welding robots. A user uploads the job or presents the workpiece, after which the system identifies weld geometry, generates robot paths and adjusts motion around variation in the actual assembly rather than depending entirely on manually taught points.
The retrofit is designed to work with existing robot brands and can be installed without replacing the arm or building a new proprietary welding machine. Operators supervise the application through a simplified interface while Tekton’s software handles path creation and adaptation. The product targets high-mix fabrication where conventional teach-pendant programming makes short production runs uneconomic.
