Advanced Navigation
About
About Advanced Navigation
Certus and related inertial-navigation systems combine accelerometers, gyroscopes, GNSS and external aiding data through sensor-fusion algorithms to estimate position, orientation and velocity. The range spans compact MEMS units through higher-performance fibre-optic-gyro systems for aircraft, vehicles and stabilised platforms.
Underwater products such as Subsonus add acoustic positioning where satellite signals cannot reach, while Motus provides subsea inertial navigation. Advanced Navigation supplies sensors, software, calibration and integration support across complete positioning chains, allowing customers to combine inertial, satellite, acoustic and external measurements around the operating environment.
