About Sensrad
Sensrad divides its radar offering between mobile perception and monitoring of fixed areas. Hugin is aimed at vehicles and other moving platforms, while Munin addresses applications such as perimeter surveillance and traffic management. Both combine radar hardware with the company’s perception algorithms, turning detections into information that an application can use.
For monitored areas, the software supports tracking several objects, counting them, measuring speed and classifying detections. That makes the output useful for understanding movement through a space as well as identifying an individual object. Sensrad’s approach brings the processing layer together with high-resolution radar, allowing integrators to build around interpreted scene information.

VirtuRail Automated Service Vehicles currently rely primarily on cameras and lidar for assisted navigation in tunnel construction. The proposed radar layer targets smoke, dust, darkness and other conditions that can reduce optical-sensor performance.

WATCHIT combines Hugin D1 data with existing onboard sensors and marine AI to assess collision risk in varied weather and lighting. The system targets floating objects, semi-submerged obstacles and other close-range hazards for recreational boats. The order moved Hugin D1 from evaluation into a named maritime-safety customer application.
