About
About Carnegie Robotics
Carnegie Robotics' MultiSense stereo cameras combine synchronised imaging, depth processing and inertial sensing within rugged enclosures. KS21i provides a 21-centimetre stereo baseline and onboard processing for robot perception, while S27 is an IP67 system designed for mining, agriculture and other heavy outdoor equipment.
The company also develops autonomy computers, navigation systems and complete robotic platforms and provides contract manufacturing from electronics through final system assembly. Customers use Carnegie Robotics to combine sensing, compute, software and vehicle controls with prototyping and contract manufacturing in one production route.

Timeline
Events
- 2026-07-23 - Contract Award - BLADE selected for U.S. Army Project Sustainment autonomous-logistics programme
BLADE was selected as one of five industry partners for the U.S. Army's NAMC-led Project Sustainment programme for contested supply distribution. The proposed Dire WOLF is a six-wheel diesel-electric hybrid UGV designed to carry thousands of pounds, pivot steer and climb vertical two-foot steps. The platform combines non-pneumatic Michelin Tweels with onboard energy storage and exportable power; BLADE is working with the Army, NAMC, Michelin and Carnegie Robotics.
Source - 2026-06-11 - Capability - AM General previews modular UGV configuration for Eurosatory
The platform was developed with Textron Systems and Carnegie Robotics, combining an AM General chassis with autonomy and drive-by-wire control. The vehicle uses a 250-horsepower engine and supports payloads up to 6,000 pounds. The planned exhibit paired the UGV with a Hornet remote weapon station for counter-UAS missions.
Source - 2024-12-03 - Product Launch - Carnegie Robotics unveils CardShark ruggedized computing platform
Carnegie Robotics unveiled CardShark as a ruggedized computing platform. CardShark opened for pre-order with test units and larger fulfillment planned for 2025. The product targets rugged compute needs inside fielded robotic and autonomous systems.
Source - 2024-08-20 - Acquisition - Carnegie Robotics acquires Swift Navigation Duro product line
The Duro line expanded Carnegie Robotics sensing and positioning hardware for industrial automation. The acquisition added rugged GNSS products used in autonomy and machine-control applications.
Source - 2020-08-31 - Partnership - Nilfisk Liberty SC50 anchors Carnegie Robotics Thoro autonomy launch
Nilfisk was both a customer and investor in the autonomy commercialization effort. Carnegie Robotics technology was embedded in the globally available Liberty SC50, enabling the scrubber to navigate around people in public spaces.
