About Soft Robot Tech
Soft Robot Tech develops pneumatic fingers that deform around the object being picked. Its gripping tools use compliant contact to distribute pressure across items such as biscuits and cakes, connecting the finger arrangement and pneumatic control to a packaging operation. The company supplies both the end-effector components and the control equipment used to actuate them.
Its work also extends to integrated material-handling systems. SRT describes an automated wafer-material warehouse in which under-running AGVs carry out inbound and outbound movements under a shared scheduling arrangement. This shows the broader integration role around its handling technology, from the contact tool at a robot’s wrist to the equipment that stores and transports materials through a production site.

The CNY150 million figure covers two separate transactions: a Series C round and a subsequent Series C+ round. Jinshi Investment led the Series C financing, while Shenqi Capital and Zhuoxing Fund invested in the Series C+ round. SRT said the capital would support robot drive-and-control development for automation across food, medical, semiconductor, electronics and other manufacturing sectors.

The award recognised SRT's soft-robot technology research, development and industrialisation project. SRT was one of three Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area enterprises receiving first prizes. The competition announced seven first-prize projects at its 11 September awards ceremony.

The gripper used flexible fingers to grasp objects with different sizes and shapes without rigid dedicated tooling. Its displayed assembly combined flexible fingers, an adjustable mounting bracket and a robot arm. SRT presented the system for handling damage-prone goods across assembly, sorting, warehousing and food-processing applications.
