About SpinEM Robotics

SpinEM Robotics is developing an anatomical tracking system for robot-assisted spinal surgery. Its compact tracking units attach directly to vertebrae, the ilium or the sacrum, so the reference follows the anatomical segment being navigated without dependence on an external optical line of sight.

The system sits in the perception and navigation layer of a surgical-robot workflow: it is intended to position surgical landmarks in space and time while the host robot and surgical team perform the procedure. SpinEM says it is supported and hosted by Haventure in the Grenoble area, and the platform remains in development for surgical navigation.
