About Trust Automation
Trust Automation combines motor and drive engineering with power electronics, software and mechanical integration. Projects can include custom motor assemblies, control electronics, cabling and complete electromechanical systems, with applications ranging from semiconductor equipment to defense and counter-drone technology. Its systems engineering considers how those elements operate together under the application’s power, packaging and environmental constraints.
Design, assembly and testing take place within an integrated manufacturing workflow that also supports build-to-print orders. The company uses machining, laser cutting and additive manufacturing equipment, and provides cleanroom assembly and testing for semiconductor applications. Load, thermal, electrical and environmental tests help qualify the completed system for its intended operating conditions.

Trust said the work would be performed at its San Luis Obispo, California facility. The Air Force contract runs through an expected completion date of August 20, 2030.
