About KNDS Mobility

KNDS Mobility is the Limoges-based defence mobility specialist formerly known as Texelis Defense. KNDS France completed its acquisition on April 2, 2026 and preserved the subsidiary's teams, contracts, products and ongoing development programmes. The separate Texelis Transport business remained independent and is outside this profile.

The company develops, qualifies, manufactures and supports complete mobility systems for 4x4, 6x6, 8x8 and tracked armoured vehicles, spanning propulsion, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, vetronics and energy distribution. In November 2024, Milrem Robotics selected the then-Texelis defence business to manufacture mobility subsystems and provide a Tank Electrified Drivetrain for a new 12-plus-tonne robotic combat vehicle family. That programme is represented as an announced development and supplier selection; this profile does not claim production deliveries have begun.
