AEON
About
About AEON
AEON is Hexagon's humanoid robot for industrial manipulation, inspection and reality capture. Its two articulated legs terminate in wheels, combining a human-proportioned upper body with omnidirectional movement and stair negotiation. Multimodal sensing, spatial intelligence and motion control help it interpret its surroundings and adjust to changes while working around industrial assets.
The platform carries eight kilograms continuously or fifteen kilograms for short periods, with interchangeable tooling supporting different assignments. Hexagon specifies five hours of autonomous work per charge and a one-minute battery exchange using a self-swap mechanism, with task endurance depending on the application. AEON brings Hexagon's measurement and spatial-computing technology into a mobile platform for industrial work.
