IRON

About

About IRON

IRON uses a human-scale spine, muscle-inspired actuation and flexible exterior covering, with 82 degrees of freedom across the body and 22 in each hand. Three Turing AI chips provide a published 3,000 TOPS for XPeng's physical-world models, which combine vision, language, interaction and action generation on the robot.

XPeng introduced the current generation at its November 2025 AI Day and named guided tours, retail assistance and industrial inspection as early application directions. Baosteel was announced as an ecosystem partner for industrial exploration. XPeng targets large-scale production by the end of 2026 and plans to open an SDK, with both programmes forming part of its development roadmap.
