ElectroFlux Series
About
About ElectroFlux Series
ElectroFlux pairs a permanent-magnet rotor and wound stator for integration directly into a customer's bearing and housing. Removing a separate motor frame supports compact joints with low cogging, high torque density and direct thermal paths.
Allient publishes the series for surgical robots, collaborative robots, humanoids and defence mechanisms. The range covers 25 to 50 millimetre frame sizes, 11.8 to 28 millimetre inner diameters, 26.8 to 422 watts and nominal supply options from 24 to 48 volts.
Timeline
- Allient launches Electroflux motor series for advanced robotics
2024-09-18 - Product Launch - The motor series targets collaborative and surgical robots, exosuits, prosthetics, explosive-ordnance robots and submersible ROVs. Allient specified high torque density and energy efficiency for compact systems with demanding operating cycles. The modular motors were designed for integration across cobots, aerospace mechanisms and harsh-environment robotic platforms.
