About Miniature BLDC Motor Series

Boreasa Miniature BLDC Motor Series combines two-pole and four-pole brushless motors across 10 mm, 13 mm, 16 mm, 19 mm and 22 mm diameters. Short, medium and long configurations let integrators balance package length, torque and speed around the available joint envelope.

Straight-wound litz-wire coils, high copper fill and rotor balancing are used to raise power density while limiting vibration. The family is sold with supporting gearboxes and controllers for dexterous hands, small robot joints, surgical tools and other compact precision mechanisms.

Timeline

  • Boreasa demonstrates slotless BLDC motor systems at World Robot Conference

2025-08-13 - Demonstration - The showcased line spans 10 mm to 22 mm diameters in short, medium and long configurations. Peak motor efficiency reaches up to 92.9% using proprietary electromagnetic simulation and straight-wound litz-wire coils. The 10 mm and 13 mm motors target dexterous-hand actuation, while the 22 mm motor targets small robot joints.
