About EC frameless DT 85 L

EC frameless DT 85 L is supplied as separate rotor and stator components that machine builders install directly inside their own mechanical housing. This construction lets the surrounding joint, bearing arrangement and structural parts serve as the motor enclosure, reducing duplicated material and packaging volume. The large motor diameter and short axial length support high torque production within flat rotary joints and constrained mechanisms.

Integrators pair the motor with an external position sensor, bearings and a maxon or third-party controller selected for the application’s voltage, current and feedback requirements. The kit is used in robot joints, gimbals, exoskeletons and precision industrial axes where the motor must become part of the host structure.
