About Apellix NDT Drone
Apellix NDT Drone is a contact-inspection aircraft for dry-film thickness and ultrasonic wall-thickness measurements. An articulating arm places interchangeable probes against elevated structures while the onboard computer manages flight control and data capture after the pilot starts the sequence. Both measurement configurations are rated for more than 100 sites or readings per hour at heights up to 100 metres.
The DFT configuration uses a DeFelsko PosiTector 6000 and supports SSPC-PA 2 and ASTM D 7091 workflows. The UT configuration uses a 5 MHz DeFelsko UTG M probe with automatic couplant application and produces a three-dimensional structure map. Live results can be exported as CSV, and optional tethered ground power supports continuous operation without battery changes.
