AD LineDrone

AD LineDrone is Aquiline Drones’ specialised multirotor for contact inspection of energised transmission conductors. A protective frame surrounds the aircraft during approach, and dedicated contact hardware reaches the wire to collect measurements that stand-off cameras cannot provide. The system is built for electricity-network maintenance where direct conductor condition matters.

Operators can combine live-wire assessment with electro-optical, thermal and ultraviolet sensing in the same infrastructure programme. LineDrone occupies a distinct role within Aquiline’s fleet: Kobra handles general inspection, Endure carries heavier payloads and Heliplane covers longer routes. Mission planning, line access and electrical safety procedures remain deployment-specific.
