About Invictus AERAS inspection drone

AERAS, short for Aerial Effector Robot with Adaptive Stabilisation, is a quadcopter designed to make controlled physical contact while hovering. A six-axis robotic arm counteracts aircraft movement so its end effector can remain positioned for non-destructive inspection.

Invictus Robotics targets bridges, construction assets and energy infrastructure where access normally requires scaffolding, lifts or rope teams. The modular arm can carry different tools and sensors for scanning, cable placement, spraying, painting and cleaning.
