About Voliro T
Voliro T uses independently tiltable rotors to generate force in any direction while maintaining its position in flight. This allows the aircraft to press an inspection tool against vertical, overhead and inclined surfaces with up to 30 N of controlled contact force. Lidar, optical-flow sensing and RTK positioning support flight around structures and inside GPS-denied areas.
Swappable payloads include ultrasonic, electromagnetic acoustic, dry-film-thickness, pulsed-eddy-current and lightning-protection-system sensors. Operators calibrate the instrument, collect live readings and upload measurements into Voliro’s reporting workflow or a customer asset-management system. The platform is deployed for tanks, piping, chimneys, wind turbines, bridges and other elevated industrial assets.
