About Racer-5-0.80 COBOT

Racer-5-0.80 COBOT is Comau’s six-axis collaborative arm for compact manufacturing cells. It supports a maximum 5 kg wrist payload through an 809 mm horizontal reach and is designed for assembly, handling, machine tending and other close-proximity automation.

The arm can operate in collaborative modes within a correctly designed application and can switch to higher-speed industrial operation when the cell’s safeguards permit. Integration controls and risk assessment determine the completed application’s safety. Comau specifies a 5 kg maximum wrist load and a 1 kg normal wrist load; admissible wrist inertia is restricted at the maximum load.
