About Epson C8-A901S

Epson C8-A901S is the long-reach C8 configuration, providing 901 mm to the J4/J5/J6 center and 981 mm to the wrist flange. It carries 3 kg at its rated point and up to 8 kg, with published standard cycle times of 0.35 seconds at 1 kg, 0.43 seconds at 5 kg and 0.50 seconds at 8 kg. Repeatability is ±0.03 mm.

The arm retains Epson's slim C-series geometry for dense workcells and can be mounted on a table, wall or ceiling. Quartz MEMS sensing feeds residual-vibration information into the servo system to reduce settling after rapid starts and stops. The RC700-A controller and Epson RC+ environment support vision guidance, conveyor tracking and industrial network options. Standard IP40, cleanroom/ESD and IP67 configurations extend the same platform across electronics, laboratory, pharmaceutical, automotive and general assembly applications.
